The studio
We are an architecture and design studio based just south of Lisbon. Founded in 2019, the studio carries forward work begun years earlier on schools, homes, commercial spaces and the renovation of historic buildings, bringing architecture and design together in every project.
Education is our particular focus. Two decades of experience in the education sector shape the way we see every school we design: not only as a building, but as a place where children grow and learn.

Empathy
A space reveals its value through the people who use it every day. We involve them from the very beginning, whether students and teachers, families or working teams, so that their experience shapes the brief and the building feels like theirs from the first day.

No site is a blank page. We begin by understanding the history, the landscape and the rules that shape each place, an understanding that guides every design decision, so the building becomes a natural part of its setting.

Wellbeing
Daylight, acoustic comfort, proportion and scale shape how we feel, learn and work every day. We treat them as the foundation of every design, creating spaces where people can thrive.
Experimentation
No two briefs are alike, and no two answers should be. We explore different directions through models and 3D views, so our clients can see each possibility before making a choice.
